Quickly Name Your Photos on Android and Find Them Instantly — Offline and Private

Organizing photos on Android can be a mess — so I built a lightweight tool to make it faster

I noticed there wasn’t a simple way to name photos directly on Android and retrieve them instantly.
There were no good options — so I decided to build one, both to solve the issue and explore the opportunity to turn it into a useful product.

What the app does

  • Lets you give a custom name to any photo, either right after taking it or later
  • Stores that name in the EXIF metadata of the image
  • Maintains a local database to search and find the photo by name in under a second

The interface is minimal — just take a photo, tap a button, give it a quick name.

Note: The app only works with photos taken by the camera — it excludes screenshots and downloads to stay focused and clutter-free.

Why it’s different

  • ✅ No account required
  • ✅ No cloud, no syncing
  • ✅ Works fully offline
  • ✅ Simple and fast: built for speed, not complexity

Most photo gallery apps are built around timeline views, albums, or cloud search.
This one is built around the idea that a single label can make the difference between losing and finding a photo — instantly.

📲 Try it on Google Play

→ Download the app from the Play Store

Is it for you?

If you’re someone who takes a lot of photos and just wants a quick, private way to mark the important ones — this tool might help.

I’m still improving it, and open to suggestions. Feel free to reach out if you try it.
